STAAR Prep Sessions

STAAR testing will begin on April 7, 2026.

To help our students succeed on the STAAR, they must attend ALL STAAR Prep tutoring sessions. STAAR Prep offers tutoring during school hours, 45 minutes to an hour. STAAR Prep is mandatory, so students MUST attend at their allotted time. Students will be provided STAAR Prep for Algebra 1, English 1, English 2, Biology, and US History to prepare for the STAAR.

STAAR Prep also includes an additional resource for the English 1 and English 2 STAAR called NoRedInk. NoRedInk offers authentic assessments, adaptive practice, personalized content, and actionable data to improve students’ writing and grammar skills. Students are required to complete all assignments given to them by the English Interventionist. NoRedInk is also cell phone-friendly; students can practice these skills at home as well.

STAAR Prep will begin the first week in March. We ask parents to please have your child at school for their required tutorials and complete their STAAR Prep assignments at home in case they need more time to master their STAAR practice skills.
